What We Collect

Nothing. Trade Mail Trio does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on any external server.

Your email content is read only on your local browser to generate summaries and extract action items via AI.
Client data, action items, and summaries are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage.
We do not have a backend server. We do not have a database. We do not have access to your data.

AI API Calls

Trade Mail Trio sends email content to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, Groq, DeepSeek, or any custom endpoint you configure) using your own API key. The API key is stored locally in your browser. We never see it, log it, or transmit it to any server we control.

Your email content is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider's servers. Please refer to your AI provider's privacy policy for how they handle your data:

Data Export & Import

The extension includes a work handoff feature with double-layer password protection:

Extension security password — required to access the export function. Stored as a cryptographic hash in your browser's local storage.
File encryption password — set separately for each export. The exported .tmt file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Share this password with the intended recipient through a separate channel.

Import requires the password set during export. You control who receives the file and its password.

Third-Party Services

Trade Mail Trio does not integrate with any analytics, tracking, or advertising services. There are no third-party scripts, pixels, or trackers in this extension.

Your Control

You can delete all stored data at any time from the Settings panel inside the extension.
Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
You are in full control of which AI provider you use and what API key you provide.
